Lori Keith

Lori Keith is the Director of Research and Portfolio Manager at Parnassus Investments, LLC, where she leads research activities and manages the Parnassus Mid Cap strategy in Oakland, California. Her responsibilities encompass overseeing sector research, guiding portfolio strategy, and identifying investment opportunities within mid-cap equities, with a focus on sustainable and responsible investing practices.

She specializes in the mid-cap segment of the U.S. equity market, with notable expertise across sectors including software, energy, utilities, technology, consumer, communications, and healthcare. Lori is recognized for her emphasis on the modernization of the U.S. electric grid to support renewable energy, as well as for integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles into investment decisions.

With over two decades of experience, Lori’s career includes roles as Vice President at Deloitte Corporate Finance, Senior Associate at Robertson Stephens, and Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s management consulting division. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Lori also sits on the board of directors of e.l.f. Cosmetics and possesses Series 7 and Series 63 certifications, underscoring her commitment to investment excellence and industry leadership.
