Ben Pickles

Ben Pickles, CFA, is a Research Analyst at Penn Capital Management Company, LLC, based in Philadelphia, PA. In his current role since 2022, he is primarily responsible for fundamental research and investment analysis across the Technology, Industrials, and Real Estate sectors, directly supporting the firm's investment decision-making within these asset classes.

Before joining Penn Capital, Ben gained significant experience as a Fixed Income Credit Analyst at The Swarthmore Group, where he specialized in investment grade and high yield credit, and as an Alternative Investment Analyst at DuPont Capital Management, covering a diverse range of alternative and fixed income strategies. Earlier in his career, he developed his consulting acumen at FactSet Research Systems, further broadening his industry perspective.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and is a CFA charterholder. His expertise spans equity, credit, and alternative investments, and he is also noted for his active community involvement with Cancer Support Community Delaware and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Philadelphia.
