Bob McLaughlin

Bob McLaughlin, CFA, is a Senior Partner and Director of Investment Services at Penn Capital Management Company, LLC, located in Media, PA. In his current role, he oversees the firm’s operations, client reporting, and client service functions, ensuring efficient middle-to-back office processes and high-quality client communications.

Mr. McLaughlin brings over 15 years of investment management experience, with specialization in high yield fixed income and micro- to mid-capitalization equity portfolios. Prior to joining Penn Capital in 2011, he was a Director with Evergreen Investments’ Global High Yield team—serving as a trader and portfolio analyst—and previously held several roles at Deutsche Asset Management, including as a trader and performance analyst focused on global high yield asset classes.

He earned a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance from Widener University, with additional credentials as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Mr. McLaughlin is recognized for his expertise in business operations and client servicing, as well as his contributions to the development and management of high yield and equity investment products for institutional and individual investors.
