Paulo Silva

Paulo Silva is the Senior Managing Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager at Penn Capital Management Company, LLC, based in Philadelphia, PA. With over two decades at Penn Capital, he leads investment strategy as a member of both the firm’s Executive Committee and Equity Strategy Committee, shaping organizational direction and overseeing the firm’s Micro Cap equity strategy.

His primary focus is on micro- and small-cap value equity strategies, with significant expertise in the technology and industrial sectors. He has managed portfolios across the micro to mid-cap spectrum and has experience guiding investments in distressed debt and reorganization situations.

Silva holds a BS in Civil Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He is a CFA charterholder and continues to contribute to the industry, including service on the Investment Committee of the Valley Forge Military Academy, highlighting his commitment to both professional and community leadership.
