David Reeder

David Reeder is a Senior Equity Analyst at Segall Bryant & Hamill, based in Chicago, Illinois, where he has been a key member of the investment team since 2017. In his current role, he focuses on selecting equities for high-conviction, all-cap portfolios, employing a research-intensive approach that integrates Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors. Reeder specializes in the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sectors, bringing deep sector expertise and a disciplined valuation methodology to the firm's flagship All Cap and Select Equity strategies.

Prior to joining Segall Bryant & Hamill, David held senior investment roles at Institutional Capital, LLC as Senior Vice President, and at LaSalle Street Capital Management, LLC as Principal and Senior Equity Analyst. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his rigorous fundamental analysis and ability to identify high-ROIC companies trading at attractive valuations, contributing to several portfolio strategies' strong long-term performance.

David holds an MBA in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Chicago and a BS in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, and he is a CFA charterholder as well as a CPA. His notable achievements include supporting SBH’s All Cap Equity strategy, which has received industry recognition such as the PSN Top Guns and Manager of the Decade awards, underscoring his impact on delivering risk-adjusted returns for institutional and retail clients.
