Dov Gertzulin

Dov Gertzulin is the founder, principal, and portfolio manager of DG Capital Management, LLC, based in New York, NY. In this capacity, he oversees all investment activities and leads the firm's research team, focusing on value-oriented strategies and complex event-driven opportunities such as restructurings, liquidations, post-bankruptcy reorganizations, spin-offs, and other special situations primarily in small and mid-sized companies.

His investment expertise centers on distressed securities and special situations across public equities, making concentrated investments in industries undergoing transformative corporate events. DG Capital's approach emphasizes identifying often-overlooked opportunities, actively managing capital for high-net-worth individuals, pensions, foundations, and family offices. Recent disclosures indicate notable allocations in healthcare, insurance, litigation finance, and broader market hedging instruments.

Before founding DG Capital Management in 2007, Gertzulin was a portfolio manager at Neuberger Berman, co-managing over $4 billion in value-oriented and event-driven investments for institutional and individual clients, and earlier was a research analyst at JDS Capital Management. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business (Stern Scholar) and graduated summa cum laude with a BBA from Baruch College, with specializations in finance and accounting.
