Tommy Kaminsky

Tommy Kaminsky is an Analyst at DG Capital Management, LLC, a New York–based hedge fund and investment advisor focused on value-based strategies. Since joining DG Capital Management in 2021, he has contributed to research and investment analysis with a particular emphasis on distressed securities, special situations, and reorganized equities, especially in middle market opportunities.

Prior to his current role, Kaminsky was an Equity Research Associate at UBS Securities, specializing in US equity research within the Financials sector, and also held positions in Wealth Management, National Sales, Business Development, and Alternative Investments at Morgan Stanley. These roles provided him with a broad background in both buy-side and sell-side investment research, portfolio analysis, and client advisory services.

Kaminsky holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Dartmouth College. He is recognized for his analytical expertise in financial sector equities and distressed assets, and his career experience spans major financial institutions with a particular focus on special situations and undervalued securities in the US capital markets.
