Alexander Kong

Alexander Kong is currently serving as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Farallon Capital Management LLC in San Francisco, a global multi-strategy investment firm known for its focus on absolute return strategies across various asset classes and sectors. In this role, he is involved in financial analysis, industry research, and the development of investment theses, supporting senior bankers in transaction execution and evaluation. His responsibilities provide him exposure to Farallon’s investments in sectors such as value equities, credit, merger arbitrage, and real assets within both developed and emerging markets.

Prior to joining Farallon, Alexander gained transaction experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at North Point Mergers and Acquisitions and developed a strong analytical foundation at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Private Wealth Management Summer Analyst. His background blends direct client advisory with rigorous investment research, equipping him with insights across M&A, private wealth, and institutional asset management.

Alexander holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and is an alumnus of St. Ignatius College Preparatory. Throughout his academic and professional journey, he has demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, transaction diligence, and asset allocation, focusing on multi-asset strategies in public and private markets.
