Robert Irimescu

Robert Irimescu is an Assistant Vice President at Fir Tree Capital Management LP in New York, where he helps oversee investments across public and private markets. His role includes supporting research, due diligence, and portfolio management, with a focus on value-driven strategies across sectors such as real estate, sovereign debt, and special situations.

Prior to joining Fir Tree in 2022, Robert was an Experienced Associate at PwC, where he specialized in assurance services, working with clients in financial services to ensure regulatory compliance and financial accuracy. He also completed an assurance internship at PwC, building strong foundations in financial analysis and audit.

Robert holds a Master's in Accounting, as well as a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University. His expertise spans investment due diligence, financial reporting, and cross-asset class analysis, with a particular emphasis on complex investment structures in the alternative asset space.
