Peter Welch is Vice President of Finance at GMT Capital Corp, a hedge fund based in Atlanta, Georgia, where he manages accounting, treasury, and financial operations for the firm’s $4 billion long/short equity hedge funds. His role has included designing operational systems and building scalable infrastructure to support GMT Capital’s significant asset growth during his tenure, especially in the area of equity hedge fund administration and reporting.
