Keith Kobyra

Keith Kobyra is a Research Analyst at King Street Capital Management, based in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he has served since 2009. In his current role, he is responsible for conducting in-depth investment research and contributing to portfolio decisions at the global alternative asset manager, with a focus on complex credit, distressed, and special situations across sectors including real estate and financial services.

Prior to joining King Street, Mr. Kobyra was an Associate at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking, where he gained substantial experience in private equity investments and leveraged buyouts, focusing on financial analysis and transaction execution. He began his career following his Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a concentration in International Business and Finance from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce, and later earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.

With over a decade at King Street, Mr. Kobyra has been recognized for his expertise in fundamental analysis, structuring credit investments, and identifying value opportunities in complex capital structures. His contributions have been instrumental in King Street’s strategies within multifamily real estate and corporate credit.
