Chad Skarno

Chad Skarno is a Research Analyst at Marathon Asset Management, based in Greenwich, CT. In this capacity, he focuses on supporting investment research across Marathon’s core strategies, which center on public and private credit markets, including corporate credit, distressed and special situations, structured credit, and asset-based lending.

Prior to joining Marathon in 2022, Chad held roles as an Equity Research Analyst at Brookfield Asset Management, where he contributed to equity analysis and sector research from 2018 to 2022, and as a Research Analyst at BNP Paribas Asset Management from 2013 to 2018. His experience ranges across various aspects of credit and equity research, covering both public and private asset classes, with special expertise in analyzing companies across multiple sectors within investment management.

Chad Skarno earned a degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and also holds a degree from the University of Miami. His academic background in business and finance underpins his analytical rigor and his ability to perform in-depth sector and asset class analysis relevant to Marathon’s multi-strategy credit platform.
