Alexander Karimi

Alexander Karimi is a Senior Analyst at Rush Island Management (formerly Northwood Liquid), an investment firm based in New York specializing in publicly traded real estate and related securities. In his current role, Karimi is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and executing investment opportunities with a focus on listed real estate equities and liquid real asset strategies.

Prior to joining Rush Island Management in 2022, Karimi was an Associate at Sculptor Capital Management, where he contributed to the investment team analyzing real estate securities and special situations across public market assets. His earlier experience includes an internship as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, further strengthening his background in capital markets and financial analysis.

Karimi holds a bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, and Economics from the University of Virginia, where he was recognized as an Echols Scholar and repeatedly named to the Dean’s List.
