JoAnne Feeney

Dr. JoAnne Feeney is a Portfolio Manager and Partner at Advisors Capital Management, LLC (ACM), where she serves on the firm’s investment committee and is responsible for overseeing Growth and Balanced strategies. In her current role, she specializes in equity portfolio management with a significant focus on the technology and semiconductor sectors, leveraging her deep expertise in sector analysis and macroeconomic trends. Her responsibilities include portfolio construction, asset allocation, and delivering market insights, frequently appearing on financial media such as CNBC and Bloomberg to share her views on market developments and specific stocks like Palo Alto Networks.

Dr. Feeney brings over two decades of experience in finance, having previously served as a senior equity analyst at boutique sell-side firms including Punk, Ziegel & Co., FTN Equity Capital, Longbow Research, and ABR Investment Strategy, where she concentrated on semiconductor company valuations. She also held academic positions teaching economics at institutions such as The University at Albany (SUNY), New York University’s Stern School of Business, and University of Colorado at Boulder, and has consulted for the Federal Reserve, IMF, and World Bank.
