Debbie Finegan

Deborah Finegan serves as Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Hamlin Capital Management, LLC, where she also sits on the Board of Managers. In her role since 2001, she oversees the firm’s operational infrastructure and compliance, having previously served as the Chief Compliance Officer from 2004 to 2012. She plays a pivotal part in ensuring business continuity and regulatory standards across Hamlin’s investment strategies.

Finegan’s expertise is rooted in managing operational aspects for investment portfolios centered on dividend-focused equities and high-yield municipal bonds, which are Hamlin’s primary asset classes. She supports the firm's strategies targeting equity income and fixed income, catering to high net worth individuals, pooled investment vehicles, and institutional investors.

Prior to joining Hamlin, Finegan gained significant industry experience at Credit Suisse First Boston, where she was a trading assistant on the municipal bond desk and completed their Sales and Trading Training Program in 1994. She is a 1981 graduate of the Katharine Gibbs School in Melville, NY, and continues to distinguish herself through rigorous analysis, operational leadership, and her commitment to the growth and safeguarding of client capital.
