Michael Grossman

Michael Grossman, CFA, serves as an Investment Research Analyst at Kornitzer Capital Management, Inc. (KCM) in Mission, Kansas, having joined the firm in 2018. In his role, he is responsible for researching and analyzing new investment opportunities and maintaining accurate data on existing investments for both the Private Client and Institutional Investment teams, focusing on equity analysis and portfolio management for high-net-worth individuals, charities, and institutional clients.

Throughout his 31-year investment career, Grossman has held diverse positions including Portfolio Manager at Sterneck Capital Management, Account Executive at Great Plains Trust Company, and senior roles at Wall Street firms such as Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. and Cantor Fitzgerald, where he specialized in institutional equity research sales and municipal bonds, respectively. Additionally, he served as President at Derivex and Controller/CFO at E Commerce Group, and provided consulting expertise to startup companies, assisting in fundraising and operational execution, notably between 2013 and 2018.

Grossman holds both a B.A. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia Business School. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2018 and is a member of the CFA Institute and Kansas City CFA Society. His expertise spans equity research, municipal bonds, and startup consulting, and he is known for his comprehensive approach to asset management across both public and private market investments.
