Andrew Adams

Andrew R. Adams serves as Chief Investment Officer at Mairs & Power, Inc., overseeing the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio management since 2018. He is responsible for directing research efforts and managing the firm’s regionally-focused equity and fixed income strategies, with a particular emphasis on companies headquartered in the Upper Midwest region.

Adams’s expertise centers on long-term investments in high-quality businesses, primarily within regional sectors such as industrials, financials, consumer staples, and healthcare. He has played a key role in shaping Mairs & Power’s distinctive regional approach and often shares insights into the firm’s disciplined investment philosophy.

His career at Mairs & Power spans nearly two decades, including roles as Executive Vice President and Investment Manager, after joining as Vice President and Investment Manager in 2006. Adams holds a BBA in finance and mathematics, as well as an MS degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is recognized as a CFA and CIC charterholder.
