Christen Dusselier

Christen Dusselier is a Portfolio Manager and partner at Mitchell Capital Management Co (MCM) in Kansas City, KS. In her current role, she specializes in fixed income portfolio management and serves as the Director of Financial Planning, conducting economic and fixed income research while sitting on the firm's Fixed Income Investment Committee. She manages tailored investment strategies for a diverse range of clients, including employee benefit plans, foundations, corporations, and individuals, focusing particularly on fixed income securities such as corporate bonds, municipal bonds, government bonds, and certificates of deposit, as well as ETFs and mutual funds.

Dusselier joined MCM in 2001 and has steadily advanced through the firm, beginning as a Portfolio Administrator, then serving as a Fixed Income Analyst before being promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2012. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, earned in 2000, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) since 2017.

As a member of the firm's ownership group, Dusselier has contributed to the growth and professionalization of MCM, a firm now managing more than $600 million in assets. Her expertise is widely recognized in the local investment community, and she actively participates in financial planning initiatives and serves on committees at local organizations and nonprofits, underscoring her commitment to both fiduciary rigor and client service.
