Maxwell Snyder is Vice President, Investment Solutions, Alternatives at NewEdge Wealth in New York, where he leads the firm's alternatives investment platform. In this role, he is responsible for building and enhancing the platform, sourcing and conducting due diligence on alternative investment products, and identifying solutions that align clients’ portfolios with their long-term goals. His focus encompasses a broad array of alternative asset classes, including private equity, hedge funds, private credit, and other non-traditional strategies aimed at diversification and risk-adjusted returns.

Before joining NewEdge Wealth, Maxwell served as Associate Portfolio Manager at Adalta Capital Management, where he gained comprehensive experience in portfolio management and alternative investment strategies. Since joining NewEdge, he has also held the position of Associate, Alternative Investments before advancing to the vice president level, underscoring a track record of expertise and leadership within the alternatives space.

Maxwell holds a double major in Political Economy and Anthropology from Georgetown University, providing him with a multifaceted analytical background well-suited to the complexities of alternative investments. His notable contributions include advancing NewEdge’s alternative investment solutions and playing a key role in platform development, supporting the firm’s reputation for delivering innovative investment approaches to high-net-worth clients and advisors.
