Bradley Kane

Bradley Kane is a Portfolio Manager and partner at Osterweis Capital Management Inc., based in San Francisco. In his current role, he manages the firm’s Strategic Income Strategy, where he focuses on delivering low-risk, high risk-adjusted yield solutions for clients by investing across a diverse array of fixed income asset classes. His expertise encompasses portfolio customization to meet the specialized needs of institutional and private clients, including considerations for legacy holdings, maturity targets, and income requirements.

Kane’s investment focus is in the fixed income space, with a particular emphasis on high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and multi-sector strategies within the broader credit markets. His approach incorporates flexible duration management and tactical asset allocation across credit sectors to optimize total return while managing risk. He plays a significant role in setting the firm’s strategic direction for income-oriented investing and is part of the key team responsible for Osterweis’s fixed income offerings.

Prior to joining Osterweis in 2013, Kane was a Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Newfleet Asset Management, where he led high yield and leveraged loan portfolios. His earlier positions include Vice President roles at GSC Partners, specializing in high yield and collateralized debt obligations, and Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management, where he managed high yield assets. Kane holds a B.S. in Business & Economics from Lehigh University, and is recognized for his deep expertise in credit markets and his substantial contributions to multi-sector fixed income management.
