Megan Stermer currently serves as Vice President and Director of Human Resources & Administration at Osterweis Capital Management Inc. Based in San Francisco, she has held this leadership role since joining the firm in 2005, overseeing human resources, facilities management, and administrative operations across the organization. She is a firm principal and key contributor to the executive management team, ensuring the firm maintains a client-first culture and operational excellence.

While not directly involved in investment management or specific asset classes, Megan specializes in human capital strategy and organizational infrastructure within the investment management sector. Her work supports portfolio managers and investment professionals across equities, fixed income, and private wealth by recruiting and retaining top talent, designing benefits programs, and implementing best-in-class HR policies to support high performance.

Megan has an extensive career background in human resources, previously serving as an HR Specialist at A.T. Kearney in both New York and San Francisco before joining Osterweis. She holds a B.A. from San Francisco State University, has completed coursework in forensic psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and possesses the PHR-CA®, SHRM-CP, and CPSP credentials, demonstrating advanced expertise in HR strategy and retirement plan oversight.
