Dan Suzuki

Dan Suzuki is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of the Investment Committee at Richard Bernstein Advisors LLC, based in Rye, NY. In his role, he leads the firm's Investment Committee, overseeing portfolio strategy, asset allocation, investment management, and marketing to major wealth management platforms and independent RIAs. Suzuki's responsibilities include developing macro-driven allocation strategies and managing global multi-asset portfolios utilizing ETFs.

He is recognized for his expertise in top-down macroeconomic analysis and is active in identifying opportunities across global equity, fixed income, and alternative asset classes, with a particular focus on sector, size, style, and region allocations. Dan frequently provides insights on U.S. equity sectors—including large-cap technology, small and mid-cap stocks, and business services—and is widely quoted in leading financial publications and appears regularly on major financial news networks.

Prior to joining Richard Bernstein Advisors in 2018, Suzuki spent over 15 years at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch Global Research, rising to senior equity strategist and previously covering the Business Services sector. He holds a BS in Economics from Duke University, completed the General Course in Economics at LSE, and earned the International Baccalaureate at Osaka International School. Suzuki has been a CFA charterholder since 2006 and is noted throughout the industry for his influential research and thought leadership in portfolio construction and market strategy.
