AJ Loughry

AJ Loughry, CFA, is Principal and Vice President, Investments at Simon Quick Advisors, LLC, based in Morristown, NJ. In his role on the Investments Research team, he is responsible for monitoring existing investments and conducting both quantitative and qualitative due diligence on a wide spectrum of new investment opportunities. He also plays an operational role in the firm's talent strategy as a member of the Hiring Committee.

Loughry specializes in evaluating managers and investment strategies across various asset classes, with a broad focus that includes traditional equities, fixed income, alternatives, and private capital markets. He frequently interacts with prospective and current investment managers to assess their offerings, approaches, and long-term fit for client portfolios.

Since joining Simon Quick in 2018, Loughry has advanced from Investment Research Analyst to his current leadership position, reflecting his contributions to research and firm growth. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting from St. Bonaventure University, graduating summa cum laude, and is a CFA charterholder. During his academic career, he managed a student investment fund and actively participated in service organizations, demonstrating early leadership in finance and community engagement.
