Robert Hostetter

Robert "Bob" Hostetter, CFA, CAIA, is the Chief Investment Officer at VestGen Wealth Partners, where he leads the development and implementation of innovative, client-centric investment strategies. In this capacity, he ensures that the firm’s investment objectives and personalized portfolios align with both the vision of VestGen and the diverse needs of its clients, spanning institutions, family offices, and individuals. He directly reports to the Founder and CEO and is instrumental in shaping the firm’s growing platform for wealth advisors and clients.

Hostetter has over 25 years of investment experience, having previously served as Managing Partner at Institutional Client Solutions and Global Head of Solutions at Russell Investments. His career also includes notable roles at AllianceBernstein, William Blair & Company, and McKinsey & Company, where he focused on product strategy, advisory, and portfolio innovation. His expertise covers a wide spectrum, from venture capital to frontier infrastructure, and he has played a role in launching one of the industry’s first turnkey asset management platforms (TAMPs).

Known for a hands-on approach to developing sophisticated investment offerings, Hostetter’s sector coverage is broad, encompassing multiple asset classes and alternative investment strategies with a particular focus on innovation, technology, and customized client solutions. He holds degrees from Duke University and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and is recognized for advancing the industry standard in personalized portfolio construction, holistic wealth management, and intergenerational planning.
