Hunter Worland

Hunter Worland is a Principal at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) based in New York, where he focuses on investments in applications and infrastructure for the digital economy, with a particular emphasis on fintech, commerce, and consumer technology sectors. He works closely with portfolio companies such as Slash, Kindred, LXA, and Fabric8Labs, supporting their growth and strategic direction.

Since joining NEA in 2021, Worland has played a key role in identifying and partnering with innovative founders and advancing NEA’s investment theses across both consumer and enterprise practices. His prior experience includes serving as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company in New York, where he advised clients in media and financial services.

Worland holds a bachelor's degree in history and government from Harvard University, where he also earned a certificate in Latin American studies and was awarded the Hoopes Prize. He is recognized for his analytical perspective on technology trends and is the author of The Current, NEA’s content series on consumer technology.
