Michele Park

Michele Park, PhD, is a Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) based in Menlo Park, CA, where she focuses on investments within the biopharma and broader healthcare sectors. At NEA, she is a core member of the Healthcare team, specifically targeting innovative biotechnology companies in areas such as oncology, rare genetic disorders, metabolic diseases, and neurodegenerative conditions.

Prior to joining NEA in 2021, Michele was a Partner at Clarus Ventures (now Blackstone Life Sciences), where she played a key role in launching the Clarus Cancer Fund, an innovative investment initiative supporting cancer research through a grant-making model. Her earlier experience includes serving as a biotechnology research analyst at Credit Suisse and Piper Jaffray, further cementing her expertise in evaluating life science companies and emerging therapeutics.

Michele holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, with her dissertation completed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and a BA in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. She is recognized for her leadership within industry advisory committees and philanthropic boards, bringing deep scientific acumen and a history of impactful contributions to healthcare venture capital.
