Xinyi Chen

Xinyi Chen is a Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), one of the world’s largest and most active venture capital firms. In this capacity, she plays a leading role in sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments, with a particular emphasis on early- and growth-stage technology companies. Her responsibilities span due diligence, portfolio management, and supporting entrepreneurs throughout NEA’s expansive network.

Prior to joining NEA, Xinyi was Director of Operations at Whistle Labs, a leading pet technology company that was acquired by Mars Petcare, where she oversaw operational strategy and business execution. Earlier in her career, she was part of the Applied Ventures group at Applied Materials, gaining direct experience in corporate venture capital and deep tech investing. Her sector expertise includes consumer technology, deep tech, and operational SaaS solutions.

Xinyi holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an AB in Physics from Harvard University, equipping her with a strong technical foundation and strategic acumen. Her notable achievement includes helping to scale Whistle Labs through a successful exit and contributing to investment theses that bridge advanced technology adoption across consumer and enterprise markets.
