François Berlioz

François Berlioz is a Managing Director at Advent Capital Management, based in the United Kingdom, where he leads research on convertible bonds across Europe. His responsibilities include overseeing investment analysis and strategy development focused specifically on convertible securities, as well as monitoring trends and opportunities in the European capital markets.

His expertise spans convertible bonds, European midcap equities, and fixed income instruments. Prior to joining Advent, he accumulated significant experience in equity research at firms such as Lazard, BNP Paribas (covering oil services and real estate), JPMorgan Cazenove, and GMP Asset Management, with a focus on French and European small/mid caps and sector-specific research.

François holds a degree from ESCP Business School and began his career as an officer in the French Air Force, bringing a disciplined and analytical approach to finance.
