Larry Oxley

Larry Oxley is Vice President of High Yield & Convertibles at Advent Capital Management, LLC, based in Middletown, NJ. In this capacity, he specializes in multi-asset class investments, with a particular focus on equity, convertibles, high yield, investment grade, and CLOs, actively covering sectors such as energy, basic materials, commodities, utilities, and clean alternatives.

Previously, Larry was a Senior Credit Analyst at Standard Chartered Bank, focusing on industrials, energy, and basic sectors, and spent over a decade at MetLife Investment Management as Vice President and Senior Credit Analyst, also heading the Commodity Price Forecasting Team. He began his career as a High Yield Bond and Equity Analyst at WR Huff Asset Management, developing expertise in distressed analysis, financial valuation models, and commodity pricing.

Larry holds an MBA in Portfolio Management from Penn State University and a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, is a CFA Charterholder, and is also certified as a Quality Engineer (CQE) with a specialization in statistics. He has contributed innovative methodologies and investment tools to the field and is recognized for a strong track record in portfolio management and thought leadership, including published work on finance and economic intersections.
