Odell Lambroza

Odell Lambroza is Chief Investment Strategist and co-portfolio manager at Advent Capital Management, where he leads the Advent Global Partners and Advent Vega strategies. Based in New York, he also manages the Transamerica Event Driven Strategies Fund, utilizing a long/short, multi-strategy approach designed to achieve absolute returns across market environments. His role centers around in-depth fundamental research to identify catalysts affecting corporate pricing and to deliver capital structure-driven investment solutions.

Lambroza is recognized for his expertise in convertible bonds, convertible arbitrage, equity derivatives, and event-driven strategies. His investment focus includes convertible securities, credit, equities, high-yield bonds, preferred stocks, and associated derivatives, with an emphasis on capital markets and event-driven opportunities. Under his leadership, Advent has excelled in managing both traditional and alternative assets across asset classes, especially through volatile and evolving market cycles.

Before joining Advent in 2001, Lambroza held senior roles as Head of Convertibles and Equity Derivatives at Société Générale, and managed convertible sales and trading desks at HSBC Securities and Bankers Trust. He began his career at Merrill Lynch, advancing to Vice President in Convertible Trading and Structured Equity Derivative Products.
