Tony Huang

Tony Huang is a Portfolio Manager at Advent Capital Management in New York, where he oversees the Advent Convertible and Income Fund (AVK) and leads strategies focusing on global balanced convertible securities and high-yield income investments. He is responsible for portfolio construction, security selection, and risk management, with a particular emphasis on convertible bonds, high-yield bonds, and equity-linked strategies across both U.S. and international markets.

Tony’s investment expertise spans over two decades, with previous positions as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Essex Investment Management and as a Research Associate at Fidelity Investments, where he covered technology debt and equity. At Advent, he was promoted through the ranks and has also served as Associate Portfolio Manager for closed-end funds and lead analyst for technology sectors.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, and International Relations from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Tony is recognized for his deep knowledge of convertible securities, hybrid capital, and credit-driven investment strategies, and has contributed to Advent’s strong long-term track record managing diversified portfolios for institutional investors globally.
