Berkin Kologlu

Berkin Kologlu is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Angel Oak Capital Advisors, LLC, based in New York. He manages multiple strategies, including the Multi-Strategy Income Fund, Strategic Credit Fund, and a private fund, as well as two ETFs: the High Yield Opportunities ETF and the Income ETF. He has over two decades of experience in fixed income and specializes in building and managing investment strategies within the collateralized loan obligation (CLO) market and corporate credit sectors.

Before joining Angel Oak in 2013, Kologlu served as Executive Director at UBS Securities, where he covered structured products and client solutions with a focus on credit-related vehicles. Prior to UBS, he was Principal at Banc of America Securities, focusing on structuring and marketing CLOs and synthetic collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) backed by corporate credit. Earlier in his career, he was a commercial banker in Turkey, lending to large-cap corporations.

Kologlu holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. His career is marked by notable expertise in alternative credit, structured products, and CLOs, contributing significant depth to Angel Oak’s investment strategies in the fixed income space.
