Sarim Alpin

Sarim Alpin, CFA, is a Fundamental Research Analyst at GlobeFlex Capital, LP, where he has been a key member of the investment team since 2015. Based in Waltham, MA, he participates across both fundamental and quantitative research initiatives, leading a team of analysts and serving as a sector head, particularly overseeing research operations for GlobeFlex’s India offices. His responsibilities span a broad range of equity strategies, conducting in-depth analysis to identify value and manage portfolio risk in support of the firm’s global equity investment process.

Prior to joining GlobeFlex, Sarim spent nearly nine years at Virtua Research, where he developed expertise in fundamental company analysis, financial modeling, and sector research, further enhancing his capabilities in global equity markets. He began his career in the International Trade Department at Dogus Holding, gaining early exposure to emerging market economies and international business operations.

Sarim holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Istanbul University. As a CFA charterholder, he brings rigorous analytical skills and a quantitative background to his research, with a specific investment focus on global equity sectors and leadership in cross-border research teams.
