Amelia Davis is the Managing Director and Global Head of Business Control Management at Los Angeles Capital Management LLC, based in Los Angeles, CA. In her current role since May 2019, she leads the firm's global business control management strategy, overseeing risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational controls across all business units. She is responsible for ensuring robust internal controls and governance structures that align with industry standards and evolving regulatory requirements.

Amelia’s expertise covers a wide array of investment management functions, with a specialized focus on quantitative equity strategies, multi-asset portfolios, and institutional asset management. Prior to her current role, she served as Executive Director and Head of Fund Oversight and Financial Reporting at Los Angeles Capital Management LLC, where she managed fund governance, financial reporting, and operational oversight for the firm's investment products. In addition to her work at Los Angeles Capital, she serves as a board member for the Davis Family Office, providing strategic oversight for private wealth and family governance.

She holds an Executive Master of Business from USC Marshall School of Business, with concentrations in macroeconomics, managerial economics, organizational behavior, and enterprise risk management. Amelia’s academic background also includes advanced studies in international trade, financial management, and investment from the University of Southern California.
