Arí Gibson

Arí Gibson is an Investment Analyst on the Private Equity team at Makena Capital Management, based in Stanford, CA. In this capacity, he is responsible for conducting due diligence on new investments and manager selection across the venture capital, growth equity, and buyout asset classes, contributing to the firm's robust alternative asset portfolio management.

Prior to his current role, Arí served as an Investment Analyst Intern at Makena Capital Management and completed a Private Equity Internship at Trive Capital, where he gained hands-on experience in private markets and alternative asset investment strategies. His focus includes the evaluation of private equity managers, sourcing new opportunities in venture and growth capital, and supporting investment decisions in buyout transactions.

Arí holds a B.A. with Honors in International Relations and a minor in Economics from Stanford University, complemented by studies in Spanish and Iberian Studies at the School Year Abroad (SYA), and a diploma in International/Global Studies from Providence Day School. His academic background and professional experiences underline his expertise in global economics, private equity, and cross-border investment strategies.
