Sungho Maeng

Sungho Maeng is the Head of Multi-Asset Trading and Operations at New York Life Investments, based in New York, NY. In this leadership role, he oversees multi-asset trading functions and operational infrastructure, with a focus on enhancing execution efficiency and organizational risk management across diverse asset classes.

With over a decade of experience at New York Life Investments, Sungho specializes in trading and operations for equities, fixed income, derivatives, and multi-asset portfolios. His expertise encompasses cross-asset execution, portfolio implementation, and streamlining operational processes for institutional investment strategies.

Prior to joining New York Life Investments, Sungho held analytical roles at Samsung Asset Management (New York) and Korean Eximbank, where he developed expertise in portfolio attribution and financial analysis. He holds an MIA in International Finance and Economic Policy from Columbia University and a BS in Operations and Technology Information Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
