Euan Mackay

Euan Mackay is currently a Client Portfolio Manager at O'Shaughnessy Asset Management, LLC, where he leads client engagement and portfolio management initiatives with a focus on systematic, quantitative investment strategies. In this capacity, Mackay is responsible for articulating the firm’s investment philosophy, overseeing portfolio positioning, and serving as a key liaison between the investment team and institutional as well as high net-worth clients. His expertise centers on equity markets, particularly within factor-based and systematic equity strategies, across both domestic and international markets.

Prior to joining O'Shaughnessy Asset Management in September 2021, Mackay held the position of Client Portfolio Manager at AXA Investment Managers, where he specialized in multi-asset and global equity portfolios, and was responsible for managing client relationships and delivering tailored investment solutions. Earlier in his career, he served as an Investment Specialist at M&G, contributing to product strategy, investment communications, and market analysis, primarily within equity funds.

Mackay holds a Master’s degree (Distinction) in Comparative American Studies from the Institute for the Study of the Americas at the University of London, and a Master’s degree (Distinction, spoken Spanish) in International Relations and Spanish from the University of St. Andrews. His notable strengths include cross-asset portfolio management, client communications, and quantitative investment strategy, with a proven track record of delivering thought leadership and driving client outcomes in the asset management industry.
