Gaicd Julia Weng

Julia Weng, GAICD, is a Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Paradice Investment Management, currently based in Chicago. She plays a key role on the Australian Equities team, where she is responsible for fundamental research, portfolio construction, and the management of investments primarily within the Industrials, Financials, and Healthcare sectors. Her expertise supports the firm in identifying high-quality Australian equities through rigorous analysis and a disciplined investment process.

Julia joined Paradice in June 2019 from Aware Super (previously known as First State Super), where she served as an Associate Portfolio Manager for the Australian equities portfolio. Prior to that, she gained comprehensive experience across both buy-side and sell-side roles at firms such as Morgan Stanley and Macquarie Group, covering a diverse range of sectors. She also contributes to the investment industry as a member of the Investment Committee for the Student Managed Investment Fund at the University of Sydney.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science from Macquarie University and is a CFA® Charterholder. She has obtained the GAICD qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and completed a program in Corporate Sustainability Management at the Yale School of Management, reflecting her commitment to responsible and sustainable investing. With over 18 years of financial services experience, Julia is recognized for her analytical acumen and sector expertise, particularly in Industrials, Financials, and Healthcare within the Australian equity market.
