Matthew Gershuny

Matthew D. Gershuny is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer and lead Portfolio Manager at Parnassus Investments, LLC in San Francisco, focusing primarily on the Parnassus Mid Cap Fund. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing investment activities, guiding risk management frameworks, mentoring investment staff, and serving as a spokesperson for the firm. Gershuny has played a key role in building the Mid Cap Fund from $5 million to $5 billion, demonstrating a commitment to integrating both fundamental and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria in his investment process.
