Chris Greco

Chris Greco is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer, Principal, and Director of Institutional Sales at Waycross Partners, based in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, he leads the firm’s strategic growth and client engagement efforts, focusing on tailored solutions for institutional investors, including pension funds and large consultants.

Prior to his move to Waycross Partners in 2021, Chris Greco spent 18 years as a Partner at Sawgrass Asset Management, where he was responsible for institutional marketing and client services across multiple asset classes, with a particular emphasis on equity strategies and long/short equities. His background also includes work at Fidelity Investments and Clover Capital, further strengthening his expertise in marketing hedge funds, mutual funds, and separate accounts, particularly in the institutional and retirement plan space.

Chris holds both a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an MBA from Boston College Carroll School of Management, underpinning his more than 30 years of experience in the investment industry. He is recognized for his significant contributions to the institutional defined benefit and defined contribution marketplaces and for helping firms develop and market differentiated investment products for institutional investors.
