Dean McQuiddy

Dean McQuiddy, CFA, is a Co-Founding Principal, Co-CEO, and Chief Investment Officer at Sawgrass Asset Management, L.L.C., based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He leads the firm's equity management team and is responsible for overseeing investment strategy, portfolio management, and the development of equity products for institutional and sub-advisory clients. His work primarily spans US equity investments, with particular expertise in growth equity and high-quality core fixed income strategies.

Before founding Sawgrass Asset Management in 1998, Dean McQuiddy was an equity portfolio manager at Barnett Capital Advisors, bringing over four decades of experience in the asset management industry. He has been instrumental in the creation and management of several specialized equity products, including small cap growth, diversified large growth, and opportunistic growth strategies.

A University of Florida graduate and CFA charterholder, McQuiddy has played a key role in Sawgrass Asset Management's growth, helping the firm achieve significant milestones such as reaching over $3 billion in assets under management. His leadership and long-term vision have contributed to the firm's reputation for client-focused service and stability in both equity and fixed income markets.
