John Roberts

John N. Roberts serves as Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager at Segall Bryant & Hamill, LLC, headquartered in Denver, Colorado. In his current role, he co-leads portfolio management across various strategies, with a primary focus on U.S. and global equity and balanced portfolios, as well as incorporating workplace equality factors into investment decisions.

Roberts specializes in managing strategies that prioritize fundamental analysis and integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, with an emphasis on publicly traded equities across multiple sectors. He has a notable track record in both fixed income and equity asset classes, reflecting over two decades of portfolio management experience.

Before joining Segall Bryant & Hamill in 2018, Roberts was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Denver Investments from 1996 to 2018, and he is also the creator of the Workplace Equality Index, highlighting his commitment to social impact investing.
