Sam Park

Sam Park is Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) at Simplify Asset Management Inc. in Atlanta, GA. In this role, he spearheads the design and management of quantitative portfolios, focusing on leveraging mathematical and statistical models to deliver risk-adjusted returns and innovative strategies for institutional and retail clients. Sam specializes in alternative investment solutions, including options-based equity strategies and systematic approaches across equities and derivatives markets, directly supporting Simplify’s commitment to portfolio risk management and convexity enhancement.

Before joining Simplify, Sam served as Senior Investment Analyst, Strategy and Allocation at UPS, where he contributed to asset allocation decisions and investment strategy for sizeable corporate portfolios. He also gained foundational experience as an Investments Intern at UPS, supporting research and analysis across fixed income, public equity, and multi-asset investment mandates. These roles provided a robust background in strategic asset allocation and institutional investment analysis.

Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His expertise includes quantitative modeling, portfolio construction, and alternative risk premia strategies. He is recognized for his analytical rigor and practical approach to managing complex investment solutions, with a focus on options and systematic equity sectors.
