Kevin Unger

Kevin Unger, CFA, is an Associate Portfolio Manager at Wasatch Advisors LP in Salt Lake City, Utah. He plays a key role on the emerging markets research team, where he helps manage the Wasatch Emerging Markets Small Cap strategy alongside other lead managers. His responsibilities include investment analysis and portfolio management focused on identifying high-quality, reasonably valued businesses across IT, industrials, financials, and healthcare sectors within emerging markets.

Prior to joining Wasatch in 2015, Kevin held analyst roles at Wells Capital Management, contributing to the Berkeley Street Emerging Markets Equity Fund, and at NERA Economic Consulting, where he conducted econometric analyses for regulated industries including energy and securities. His work has spanned global equity research with a distinct emphasis on emerging markets and regulated sectors.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and is a CFA charterholder. His expertise lies in emerging markets equities, small cap strategies, and cross-sector research. Notably, his multilingual background and international experience further enhance his analytical scope and global investment insight.
