Greg Shorin

Greg Shorin, JD, CFA, is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Zazove Associates LLC, based in Incline Village, Nevada. In this capacity, he manages the firm's Global Convertible Strategy and serves as Director of Trade Operations, working closely with the executive team and the Investment Committee to support all of Zazove's convertible securities strategies.

His primary investment focus is on global convertible securities, utilizing quantitative approaches to assess risk and return across the credit spectrum and international markets. Mr. Shorin brings deep expertise in this specialized asset class and has contributed to the development and execution of multiple convertible-focused investment strategies for a broad client base, including institutional investors such as public pension plans, insurance companies, and endowments.

Before joining Zazove in 1997, Mr. Shorin was a Senior Associate at Baker Botts LLP, specializing in international pricing and trade practices, and served as Senior Counsel at the U.S. Department of Commerce's Office of the Chief Counsel, focusing on international trade matters. He holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Binghamton University, supporting his leadership in legal, regulatory, and quantitative investment analysis.
