Joshua Chekofsky

Joshua Chekofsky is an experienced investment professional who most recently served as an Analyst at Empyrean Capital Partners, LP, a Los Angeles-based multi-strategy hedge fund. At Empyrean, he was responsible for researching and analyzing investment opportunities across various sectors, primarily focusing on credit, special situations, and event-driven strategies, with direct involvement in due diligence, valuation, and portfolio recommendation processes.

Prior to his tenure at Empyrean Capital Partners from 2015 to 2016, Chekofsky held analyst and associate roles at Perella Weinberg Partners (2008-2014) and Gordian Group (2001-2006). His career has centered around investment analysis and advisory in sectors such as distressed debt, restructuring, and alternative asset management, giving him a broad perspective across both public and private markets.
