Patrick Boulva

Patrick Boulva is a Portfolio Manager at Empyrean Capital Partners, LP, based in Los Angeles, California, where he has served since June 2011. In this capacity, he focuses on managing event-driven, multi-strategy portfolios that span diverse asset classes, including equity, credit, and convertible securities, leveraging a fundamentally oriented and cross-asset approach. His responsibilities include identifying and executing on investment opportunities around corporate events, special situations, and market dislocations.

Prior to joining Empyrean Capital Partners, Patrick was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for a decade and gained significant experience in financial markets and investment strategies. His background at Goldman Sachs provided a strong foundation in risk management and complex investment analysis, which he continues to apply in his current role.

Patrick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from McGill University, where he studied from 1997 to 2001.
