Alexander Ng

Alexander Ng is a Trader at King Street Capital Management in New York, where he is responsible for executing trades and supporting portfolio management across the firm's multi-strategy alternative investment platform. King Street Capital Management is recognized for its focus on global credit, event-driven situations, and tactical trading spanning various asset classes, including distressed credit, equities, and special situations. Ng’s role involves leveraging quantitative skills and market insights to identify dislocations and mispriced opportunities, contributing to the firm's performance within these sectors.

Prior to joining King Street in August 2025, Alexander built his expertise as an Equity Derivatives Trader at BNP Paribas from 2022 to 2025, where he specialized in equity-linked products and derivatives strategies. During this time, he developed a strong foundation in structuring and risk management of complex financial instruments, working closely with both institutional investors and internal proprietary trading desks.

Alexander holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Computer Science from Colgate University, where he also served as a teaching assistant in Computer Science. His technical and analytical background underpins his approach to trading and market analysis, particularly within sectors such as credit, equity derivatives, and event-driven investments. At just 25, he is recognized for combining quantitative rigor with a practical understanding of financial markets to drive impactful investment decisions.
