Brian Nold

Brian Nold is currently a Portfolio Manager at Merewether Investment Management, LP in New York, NY, where he oversees equity investments with a focus on finance and consumer services sectors. He is responsible for directing portfolio strategy, conducting equity research, and making key investment decisions for the firm's clients.

Prior to joining Merewether, Brian held senior investment roles including Portfolio Manager at Muzinich & Co, where he focused on corporate credit strategies, and Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Column Park Asset Management, LP. At Column Park, he was responsible for managing portfolio risk and executing investment decisions across the credit and product spectrum, with particular expertise in fundamental credit, event-driven, and tactical trading methodologies. His career also includes substantial experience investing through all phases of the credit cycle and building credit-focused portfolios.

Brian holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Environmental Science, both from the University of Virginia. He is recognized for more than 20 years of experience in credit and equity investing and is noted for his contributions to building and managing high-performing investment teams and developing analytic strategies for complex credit and equity assets.
