Randy Alexander is the Head of Trading at Merewether Investment Management, LP, a Dallas-based alternative investment firm focused on the energy sector. Prior to joining Merewether, Randy served as Head of Trading at Icahn Capital LP and spent over two decades at Carlson Capital, L.P. as Senior Equity Trader and Director, where he developed deep expertise in institutional equity trading and portfolio management. His career is marked by significant contributions to trading strategy and operational excellence at multi-billion-dollar hedge funds.

Randy earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Banking from the University of Arkansas.
